An S3 token provides access to S3-compatible Object Storage and contains all the information needed to connect via the ‘S3 API’. You can use this token in backup software, CMSs (WordPress) and development tools to connect using the S3 API.
In the TransIP control panel you can easily create and manage S3 tokens. This article explains how this works.
Unless you untick the option, an S3 token is created automatically when you order an Object Store.
