How do I forward my domain name?

In your control panel you can set up which website you wish to forward your domain name to. For example you can forward a domain name with a different tld like transip.net to transip.eu. That way your visitors will always get to the right website. You can forward your domain name to any other existing domain name. For example you can forward your personal domain name to your LinkedIn profile!

Easy to set up

You can order the forwarding service via our special forwarding service page. When you choose an available domain name in the results the forwarding service will automatically be added. After that you can press 'Next' to continue the order. As soon as you have completed your order you can use your control panel to enter the address that you want to forward the domain name to.

It is also possible to order the forwarding service for a domain name that you already own, as long as you do not have a webhosting package with your domain name. To order the forwarding service for a domain name you already own you can log into the control panel. Then go to Domains Hosting and select the domain name that you wish to order the forwarding service for. Lastly select 'Add/upgrade'.

Apart from the forwarding service it is of course also possible to select a webhosting package if you wish to set up a website instead of forwarding your domain name.

Various forwarding methods

You can forward your domain name in various ways, such as for example a 301 header, a 302 header and in a frame. A step by step explanation on how to set up your Forwarding service can be found in this article: 'Forwarding your domain name'.
