Note: Managing your email add-ons in your control panel is only possible for new packages ordered after 03-12-2025. All other packages will be migrated to support the new features in the upcoming months.
In this article, we explain how you can detach your email add-ons and assign them to another mailbox. This way, you can manage your email add-ons flexibly and have the freedom to assign them to whichever mailbox needs it at the time.

Unassign an add-on and assign it to another mailbox
Step 1
Go to the control panel and click on 'Email hosting' in the left menu. Then click on your domain name under 'Products'.

Step 2
Click ‘Add-ons’ at the top, In the overview, you can see which add-ons you have and to which mailbox they are assigned.
Here, you can unassign add-ons from a mailbox or assign them to a mailbox using the buttons on the right. An add-on must first be unassigned before it can be assigned to another mailbox.

As soon as you click the ‘Assign’ button, a new screen will open where you can select the mailbox you want to link the add-on to.
Step 3
Select the correct mailbox in the menu and then click ‘Assign’ to confirm.
