Can I install a different OS on a pre-installed image of DirectAdmin, Plesk or cPanel?

Our pre-installed packages of DirectAdmin, Plesk and cPanel are always installed in combination with CentOS (6.6).

Even though these control panels are supported on different OS-es too it is not possible to run them on another OS by installing the OS in question. For example when you are running the pre-installed DirectAdmin image and you wish to use Ubuntu you can not use the option 'Reinstall OS' in the control panel on our website. Doing this will overwrite the pre-installed image and your DirectAdmin license will be cancelled, leaving you with a bare Ubuntu installation.
