How do I restore the DNS settings to default mode?

If you would like to restore the DNS configuration of your domain to the TransIP default values (for example after buying a web hosting package), this is what you need to do:

  • Go to Domain & Hosting in the Control Panel
  • Choose your domain
  • Under "Advanced domain settings" you will find your DNS settings./li>
  • Click on the 'Copy from' dropdown menu and select the 'TransIP default DNS-settings'
  • Click 'Save' to confirm the changes

Keep in mind that changes in DNS settings and nameservers may take up to 24 hours to be processed worldwide. This 24 hour period is required because DNS entries are cached (usually in 24 hour periods) and your ISPs nameservers may contain the old nameservers. We are not able to speed up the process, but usually these changes are propagated within several hours.
