In July, we will start the automated migrations from the CloudVPS XEN platform to the TransIP VPS platform.
Once the migration of your VPS is completed, your contract with CloudVPS will expire. Your VPS(s) will be billed by TransIP after the migration, with the corresponding terms and conditions.
The following data is transferred to TransIP (insofar as this data is known to CloudVPS):
- CloudVPS customer number
- Name and address data
- Email address(es)
- Phone number(s)
- Company Name
- VAT number
- Chamber of Commerce number
- Bank details
How does invoicing work at TransIP?
TransIP invoices services monthly, with the exception of domains and SSL certificates. Domains are invoiced annually and SSL certificates once on issuing them. TransIP will introduce annual invoicing in the future, but no exact eta is available yet.
Every 1st and 15th day of the month you will receive an invoice for the services purchased during that period. For example, if you purchase a new service on the 13th, the invoice for it will be issued on the 15th. Invoices are sent by email with the subject 'F000.1234.1234.1234' and can be found in the TransIP control panel.
You can use iDeal and direct debit to pay invoices. If you still want to use a different payment method, such as credit card or PayPal, then, contact our support department via the 'Contact' button at the bottom of this article.
Will I continue to pay the same as with CloudVPS?
After the migration, the prices of your services will remain the same at TransIP as they were at CloudVPS. If we adjust prices, for example, as a result of price increases by a supplier (e.g. Microsoft), then, that new price will also apply to your VPS.
I still use CloudVPS services, will I receive multiple invoices later?
From now on, your VPS will be invoiced via TransIP, but if you purchase another service from CloudVPS, such as OpenSTACK, you will receive a separate invoice for this from CloudVPS.
