How do I install CoreOS on my VPS?

After you have chosen to install CoreOS the installation of the OS will be started on your VPS through PXE. When a login prompt is shown in your console (under 'VPS') you can login over SSH as user core to execute the following commands:

wget http://pxe.frontend.transip.nl/cloud-config.yml
sudo coreos-install -d /dev/vda -c cloud-config.yml
sudo reboot

Once your VPS has rebooted, you only need to remove the entry in the file .ssh/known_hosts.

Please note: This description is meant for CoreOS Stable. Are you installing CoreOS beta or alpha? Then add the following to the second command:

-C beta

or

-C alpha
